Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand - Celebrating YTT Grads
Every individual finds their own way to a Yoga Teacher Training when they are ready. Those individuals who travel to Thailand are looking for more than just a sought-after teacher or immersing themselves in a style of yoga. They seek a lifestyle change as well as a mind-body renewal. An opportunity to experience each day as a mindful journey from sunrise to sunset as well as dive into a practice of self-discovery and self-reflection.
One Yoga 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings are designed with the intention to create a holistic experience for a yogi in training within an environment in which students can practice health-giving and life-affirming principles. This daily immersion leads to a powerful shift when yoga, nutrition, community and a warm tropical climate come together.
The home of One Yoga is located on the lush tropical island of Koh Phangan. This has been our dream in the making to create retreat center since the very beginning, nestled on a hill by the warm gulf coast. We are grateful for this beautiful and peaceful landscape that we now can call our home.
From our elevated yoga shala to the waterfront student accommodation bungalows, our guests can also enjoy the enchanting view of a ever-changing horizon of turquoise waters and sunsets.
We also have a team of resident One Yoga experienced teachers and vegetarian kitchen that serve two nutritious meals during the day. Most of our guests are accommodated on our resort short distance to the yoga shala and restaurant. In addition to our own 16 beach bungalows with sea view, we have a guest house nearby.
One Yoga was founded with the vision of offering Yoga Teacher Training in a retreat style setting, without the normal distractions of everyday life.
This summer of 2019 was a particularly special season, we hosted our first groups of students for One Yoga Teacher Training Courses at our new location. This radiant group of yogis have joined us to activate our new yoga home and filled t with unforgettable memories. To witness a group of strangers sit in a circle as they meet on the first day, and then observe how through the upcoming days and weeks, individuals merge and become a whole. This is one of the gifts of yoga - a sense of oneness.
To the Grads of 2019:
We would like to acknowledge all of our recent graduates for bringing their individual gifts and light to our new home. Thank you for your powerful voices, the warmth and ingenuity of your presence as well as your daily commitment.
May the light of your service and passion for teaching grow stronger as you deepen your yoga practice and guide yourself onward towards self-realization. You will always have your Sangha here at One Yoga.
The greatest gift for the One Yoga team is to see you starting your own yoga movements and offering yoga classes in your communities. We love seeing your teaching photos on social media, and we invite you to stay connected as you integrate your experience on your journey and share your milestones along the way. Thank you for choosing One Yoga as part of your initiation. Namaste.
